43 Spring Appetizers That'll Have You Begging This Season Was Longer
The snow is melting—let's party.
We don’t know about you, but winter ending puts us in a party mood. Once it's even slightly warm outside, it’s a no-brainer to invite friends over for a party to celebrate spring. The hardest part is deciding what to serve! We say save the dinner party spreads for winter, and just go with easy bite-size appetizers and dips that help proclaim fresh veggies and sunshine are back. Get inspired by our list of 43 recipes that might just have you wanting to throw a party every week this spring.
After a long winter, there’s nothing better than spring produce, so we’re highlighting our faves, like spinach, carrots, berries, radishes, and more. Spinach shines alongside artichokes in classic baked spinach & artichoke dip, of course, but we’re also using its flavor profile in creative spin offs like our spanakopita spinach pockets or our ham & cheese spinach puffs. Carrots replace hot dogs in carrots in a blanket fit for vegetarians (don’t worry, we’ve got the OG pigs in a blanket too) and are the star ingredient in our carrot cake dip. Berries like strawberries and blueberries are just starting to become fresh and juicy again, so we’re enjoying roasting them with cheese to turn them into sticky-sweet apps, like our baked feta & blueberries or our whipped feta with roasted strawberries. If you’re a fan of our baked feta bites, you’re going to LOVE these. Radishes get a bad rap as being spicy and one-note, so we’re taking them to the forefront this season in our “faux”tato chips and our brown butter radish crostini. Take this list as inspiration, and try folding some of your favorite spring fruits and veggies into the mix all season long.
