Chef Marc Forgione is known as much for his insanely delicious and inventive cuisine as he is for his down-to-earth, relaxed demeanor.
Today the acclaimed chef released his new cookbook, Marc Forgione: Recipes and Stories from the Acclaimed Chef and Restaurant.

The book is packed with bold, beautiful images, step-by-step instructions, stories from behind the scenes of his namesake restaurant, and even quotes from Pearl Jam. The 400+ page book does contain some fairly intimidating dishes, but, as Forgione reassures, all of the recipes are doable at home.
If you've been fortunate enough to dine at one of Forgione's three restaurants, you'll recognize some of the dishes in the book, including Chicken Under a Brick and the amazing Chili Lobster (see below). Beyond the incredible dishes, Forgione's antidotes are amusing and he provides great insight into the life of a chef.
