Peppermint Bark Shots
Put these out for Santa in lieu of milk this year to guarantee your spot on the nice list. 😉
We look forward to peppermint bark season all year long. These shots taste a lot like the real thing, only way more boozy. Sweet, minty, and creamy, be warned: These go down easy, but they’re just as strong as your average shot.
For holiday get-togethers, we suggest mixing these drinks in advance so all you have to do is pour them when guests arrive. Keep the mixture in the freezer so it’s ice cold for serving. The shot glasses can also be garnished ahead of time and kept in the refrigerator. We went with white chocolate to adorn the rims, but if you're missing the semisweet chocolate from the traditional bark, feel free to swap it in.
When it comes to white chocolate liqueur, we’re big fans of Godiva’s version. It’s sweet, but not overly so, and has a subtle vanilla flavor that pairs nicely with the peppermint schnapps. If you try another brand, let us know what you thought of it in the comment section below!
