We can all agree that Starbucks is the go-to for morning jump starts and afternoon breaks, no? There’s one on every corner and it’s (usually) fast and easy to get your fix of anything from coffee to tea to Frappuccinos. With that in mind, we’ve broken all Starbucks classic drinks into categories and ranked them from least to most caffeine. This way, you know what you’re getting into.
To make it easier to compare drinks, we looked at the Grande size of each, which clocks in at 16 oz. Their other sizes are Short, 8 oz.; Mini, 10 oz.; Tall, 12 oz.; Venti, 20 oz.; Venti Iced, 24 oz.; and Trenta Iced (read: “Bucket”), 31 oz. We got the information from the Starbucks website, though the numbers can vary a little bit location to location. This info is enough to give you a good guide, though, so treat yourself—and caffeinate—accordingly. Keep in mind that according to the Mayo Clinic, the recommended limit for caffeine intake is 400 milligrams (mg) a day for healthy adults.
