Sure vodka sodas get all of the love, but we find that they often taste to plain and simply aren't as fun as most other drinks. Enter tonic water!
Similar vibe to the vodka soda, vodka tonic adds a bit of sweets and taste to the affair. Vodka and tonics take no bartender experience and are a breeze to make. Easy enough to make a bunch for friends or to simply enjoy on your own to unwind. It's straight forward and simple and it's one of our favorite cocktails for a reason.
The only thing we think is absolutely crucial to a good vodka tonic is citrus! Any type of citrus will do from the standard lemon or lime to the more daring blood orange, it adds a bit of acidic bite that helps round out the drink. And it makes it look pretty too!
