What is a Dirty Shirley?
A Dirty Shirley is a cocktail made with vodka, grenadine, ginger ale, lime juice, lemonade and topped off with a Maraschino cherry and a lime wedge.
How is a Dirty Shirley different from a Shirley Temple?
A classic Shirley Temple is made without vodka (so it's a mocktail) and a Dirty Shirley is an alcoholic version of the drink.

Ingredients
- 50 ml
vodka
- 25 ml
grenadine
- 50 ml
ginger ale
- 25 lb.
lime juice
- 100 ml
lemonade
brandy soaked cherries or Maraschino cherries
Lime wheels, to serve
Directions
- Step 1Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and lime wheels.
- Step 2Add vodka, grenadine, ginger ale, lime juice over ice.
- Step 3Top up with lemonade and stir.
- Step 4Finish with a cherry and enjoy!
