Ingredients
- 500 g
petit pois
- 300 g
cooked deli ham trimmings or gammon, roughly cut up
- 500 ml
vegetable stock
- 1 tsp.
salt
- 1 tsp.
red wine vinegar
Drizzle double cream (optional)
Directions
- Step 1In a saucepan over medium heat, boil your peas for 2-3mins until cooked, drain
- Step 2Add back to the pan with the stock and using an immersion blender and blitz until smooth. You could also transfer to a blender a little at a time.
- Step 3Add the red wine vinegar and chopped ham, reserving some. Season to taste, drizzle with double cream, top with more ham and serve with crusty bread.
