Picture this: You just saw one of your favorite couples tie the knot. To make the occasion even more magical, performers in Mickey and Minnie Mouse costumes show up and take photos with guests. According to the Reddit user, the backlash came shortly after the wedding when their aunt expressed her disappointment in a Facebook post. A few wedding guests sided with the aunt.

A handful of Reddit users also expressed their feelings about the food-free wedding, writing "I love Disney — but damn you are rude" and "Don’t host a party if you can’t take care of your guests."

Similarly, a Southern California couple garnered both praise and criticism earlier this year for their $500 wedding, which took place at a picturesque turnoff on Angeles Crest Highway. Guests had to pay for their own food and drinks at the ceremony, but were made aware of this prior to the wedding.
