Picking a restaurant to grab a bite at can be difficult—especially if you're out of town. That's why we love the Food Network show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Whether you're headed out on a road trip or you just want to explore the DDD-worthy restaurants in your local area, let Guy Fieri show you where to dine. Crunched on time? We've compiled a list of the must-eat Triple D spots in every state—and what to order once you get there.

1

Alabama: Panini Pete's

The team at Panini Pete's whips up outstanding sandwiches and homemade beignets from a quaint ranch-style building in Fairhope, Alabama. Dishes like the Italian caprese panini with homemade mozzarella have made this eatery a must-visit in Alabama. If you don't trust us, take it from Guy Fieri, who gave the turkey panini his stamp of approval on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

2

Alaska: Pucker Wilson's

There are a couple of Guy Fieri-approved restaurants in Alaska, but Pucker Wilson's is a standout spot. While the food truck is known for its mouthwatering burgers and barbecue, it was the Cowboy Sundae (A.K.A. pulled pork loaded fries) that caught people's attention on the Food Network show. Pucker Wilson's is open year-round and always has a hoard of hungry customers—even in the dead of winter.

3

Arizona: Matt's Big Breakfast

Even after expanding to a bigger space and two new locations, Matt's Big Breakfast maintains the old-school diner feel that made it a hit with Guy Fieri. Whether you're in the mood for some fluffy Belgian waffles, homemade biscuits and gravy, or spicy huevos rancheros—all of which were featured on the episode—there's truly something for everyone at the Phoenix eatery.

Arkansas: Bruno's Little Italy

From shrimp marinara (pictured here) to lasagna imbotito, Bruno's Little Italy has been the go-to family joint for Little Rock residents since opening in 1949. The Italian restaurant follows one cardinal rule—don't mess with tradition—and has rarely strayed from the classic dishes it's known for. Which is a good thing for Guy Fieri, as he was a big fan of the homemade toasted ravioli.

5

California: Gott's Roadside

This roadside burger joint in Saint Helena, California marries gourmet flavors with fast-food favorites. While there are all sorts of mouth-watering menu items, the Napa Valley spot is known for its burgers—specifically, the Wisconsin Burger, which is topped with mushrooms, bacon, and gooey cheddar cheese.

6

Colorado: Foolish Craig's Cafe

There's nothing foolish about Foolish Craig's Cafe, and if you ever find yourself in Boulder, Colorado, we recommend this DDD spot. You're sure to have a delicious brunch thanks to its famous Bloody Marys, savory and sweet crepe dishes, and freshly baked bread (Guy was a fan of the oatmeal stout loaf).

Connecticut: Super Duper Weenie

Super Duper Weenie is exactly as it sounds, and we put it at the top of our list for DDD restaurants in Connecticut. While the Fairfield restaurant seems modest, it isn't your average hot dog stand. Guy Fieri's visit had him tasting decadent menu items like the New Englander, which is topped with sauerkraut, bacon, raw white onions, mustard, and relish.

8

Delaware: Locale BBQ Post

Guy Fieri has tasted his fair share of barbecue on Triple D, but it's the presence of pickles at Locale BBQ Post that makes it so unique. After starting as the Wilmington Pickling Company, the team sought out a cuisine that would pair well with their product—a task they clearly accomplished. The Wilmington spot keeps a simple menu with above-board quality barbecue. From brisket and pork butt to chicken wings and bratwurst, this joint's smoker is always cooking.

Florida: 11th Street Diner

The 11th Street Diner's retro interior and late-night service has made it a beloved South Beach institution since 1992. However, its outstanding menu was put on the map when Guy Fieri visited on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. The host sampled the pork chops with apples and raisins and proclaimed it one of the show's greatest pork chops.

Georgia: The Silver Skillet

Look no further than this Atlanta eatery for all of your diner needs. The Silver Skillet serves up Southern classics—chicken biscuits and grits, anyone?—from a laidback retro diner that's been in business since the 1960s.

11

Hawaii: Big Wave Shrimp

Nestled into a parking lot on the North Shore of Oahu you'll find one of the best Triple D food trucks in Hawaii. While Big Wave Shrimp is known for serving up all kinds of (wait for it) shrimp dishes, Guy tasted some of the other star menu items that shouldn't be missed, like the Korean-style barbecue short ribs.

12

Idaho: Jimmy's Down the Street

We're not not saying it was the caramel pecan roll that brought Jimmy's Down the Street straight to the top of our Triple D destination list. The mouth-watering menu item is one of many hearty dishes that make the downtown Coeur D'Alene diner a local and tourist favorite.

Illinois: Vito and Nick's

While many people associate Chicago with deep dish pizza, Vito and Nick's Pizzeria has been making the case for thin crust since 1946. Using a family recipe for the dough, the pizzas have a cracker-crisp consistency that keeps people coming back—especially for popular pies like the Italian beef pizza.

14

Indiana: Historic Steer-In

While there aren't many proper drive-ins around anymore, the Historic Steer-In restaurant has been an Indianapolis staple since 1960. It serves up classic and quality diner food—think meatball sandwiches, cream pies, and beef with noodles—and new menu items, like handmade stuffed pizza.

Iowa: Mi Patria

If you'd like to get more familiar with Ecuadorian food, we recommend running to Mi Patria in Des Moines, Iowa. From the empanadas to the South American ceviche, we promise you'll thank us later.

Traveling to Kansas City for barbecue is a hefty task, but thanks to Triple D, we've tracked down your first stop: Woodyard Bar B Que. There are endless combinations to fill your tray, from smoked chicken and burnt ends to pork ribs and baked beans.

17

Kentucky: Parkette Drive-In

The Parkette Drive-In keeps nostalgia alive with its vinyl seats, juke boxes, and classic drive-in food, like double burger and fries. However, it's menu items like chicken shrimp fish boxes and the famous Parkette chili dog that keep customers coming back time after time.

Louisiana: The Rivershack Tavern

Located in the Jefferson Parish part of the New Orleans region, this funky watering hole has a hoard of loyal local fans—as well as DDD followers—who rave about the fresh seafood, live music, and innovative cuisine. From fried oysters, catfish, and gator (yes, all of that lives on this plate) to turtle soup, the Cajun roadside spot is surely a worthwhile destination.

Maine: Maine Diner

From seafood chowder to lobster grilled cheese, there's no shortage of shellfish at the Maine Diner. And while there are many other lobster shacks across the state, none deliver it in comfort food form quite like this spot. After its DDD visit, the restaurant even created a special: the Triple D, which comes with chowder, lobster pie, and codfish cake.

20

Maryland: Blue Moon Cafe

There's French toast other places, and then there's French toast at the Blue Moon Cafe. Encrusted with Cap'n Crunch cereal and topped with fruit and whipped cream, the Baltimore brunch spot is a one-way ticket to Flavortown.
